Before V7.5, the organisation had to define 3 modules that were the same 3 for all Limited Use Users. Note: From Maximo V7.5 onwards, each Limited Use Authorised User can have their own 3 modules. An example of a typical user would be a Supervisor, Team Leader, Accounts Payable, Stores / Inventory staff or Office Administrator. For every 3 Limited Use licenses, you must purchase at least 1 Authorised User license. Functionally this is intended for those users who need less widespread use of Maximo, and is a less expensive option. This license type gives the user read and write access to 3 Maximo modules, this cannot include the administrative modules. An example of a typical user would be a Planner, Scheduler, Master Data / System Administrator. This is the most comprehensive license type, and therefore the most expensive. This license gives the user read and write access to all Maximo modules, applications and functionality.
